Talaash Movie Review
Talaash, a story full of thrill, suspense, tension and conspiracy, leaves its viewers to another level. Yes, the dialogues, actions and the tension all merge together to build up an aura of mystery and suspense around you and in the end when you get acquainted with the truth, there's only one word you'll utter - WOW!
Talaash will leave you spell-bound, will make you search and go deep into the bottom of the mystery to find the ultimate truth. The characters have been portrayed well and their parts have been played well.
Inspector Shekhawat (Amir Khan) an investigation officer investigates the death of a superstar in mysterious circumstances. On his quest to solve the case, Inspector Shekhawat meets a sex worker (played by Kareena Kapoor), only to make the puzzle more mysterious. The simple enough case seems to be turning into a rather more complicated one as the investigations done further reveal associated anomalies with this car accident.
As the story proceeds, it makes its viewers a participant in its solving the suspense. Writers Zoya Akhtar and director Reema Kagti have spun the tale in such a way that it grabs the viewers attention and leaves only after the mystery is solved. The cinematography must also be praised, for it adds to the thrill.
This suspense drama strikes a nerve and involves the viewers with itself. Amir Khan's role of Inspector Shekhawat is quite convincing and Kareena and Rani as always, look magnificent in the film and play their part well.
On the whole, Talaas does a pretty good job and is a complete entertainer till the end. The music and soundtrack is also well composed and suits and adds to the mystery of the case. All in all Talaash is a pack of suspense and thrill, which when opened keeps the viewer enthralled till its essence is over.
Talaash - 4 / 5
